The Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK) is a nonprofit research institution and a member of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Association (WGL). The Institute is the initiator and center of the Biotech Campus Gatersleben in central Germany.
As an internationally renowned plant research center the IPK is working on the problems of modern biology in fundamental and applied research by focussing on cultivated plants.
