Description:
The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) is an independent association of both neurosurgical societies and, increasingly importantly, individual members. The EANS has long been recognised for the scientific quality of the congresses, meetings and symposia which it organises, which include the four-yearly European Congresses of Neurosurgery, the Annual EANS meetings (formerly known as the Winter Meetings) and the European Neurosurgical Training Courses.
We are committed to providing a forum for our members to share and develop their neurosurgical knowledge, and are currently developing a range of Special Interest postgraduate courses for qualified surgeons. In collaboration with selected partners, the EANS also arranges a number of fellowship programmes and has an active Young Neurosurgeons section which arranges its own events.
