IOTOD 2017: Improving outcomes in the treatment of opioid dependence
Berlin, Germany 17-18 May 2017
|
Description:
IOTOD is a key event in the European addictions calendar, providing key, practice-level education to over 300 international clinicians. GPs, psychiatrists, nurses and specialists across a number of areas (from addiction to hepatology) attend this 2-day meeting to receive practically focused and highly interactive education from an international faculty, on a range of topics including medication-assisted treatment, emergency overdose reversal and hepatitis C management.
This year aims to examine new opportunities to dynamically adapt treatment to the individual patient, through a number of case-based workshops, plenary sessions, panels and presentations by leading international experts. Highlights of this year’s meeting include innovative new interactive sessions, including an OEND masterclass and a diagnostic patient mystery roleplay. The popular complex case study clinic will be featured, during which delegates will be invited to share difficult patient challenges for discussion with the expert panel and audience.
