Cardiology Update Symposium will provide primary care physicians with cardiology updates to address issues that they deal with on a daily basis. The symposium, organized by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart and Vascular Institute, will be held on April 28-29, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The symposium will gather family medicine physicians, GPs, internists, allied health professionals and nurses to learn about the latest on how to prevent, diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases, chest pain and coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart diseases, and arrhythmia. Experts from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Heart and Vascular Institute and Medical Subspecialties Institute will facilitate these sessions covering a range of topics from chest pain, CAD, SVT, heart failure and arrhythmia. Each session will be capped by a question and answer session providing attendees the opportunity to engage the experts in meaningful discussions.
At the end of the symposium, attendees will be able to: a) identify the prevention measures and risk factor control methods of atherosclerotic disease; b) discuss about the role and criteria for various diagnostic tests in cardiology; and c) identify the methods to evaluate and manage different type of heart and vascular related disease.
