Description:
Mayo Clinic Diagnostic Imaging Update and Self-Assessment is a postgraduate course designed to provide practicing radiologists, residents and fellows-in-training with a review of state-of-the-art imaging techniques. 'Focused days'(abdominal, bone, neuro) will be offered in response to prior participants' requests. Some of the presentations will be case based and include audience participation.

In support of improving patient care, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education(ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team..
Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science designates this live activity for a maximum of 24.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Self-Assessment Modules(SAMs):
Application for SAM credit is being processed. This activity should meet the criteria for American Board of Radiology self-assessment credit toward fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program. 23.75 SAM credit hours(19 Self-Assessment Modules, worth 1.25 SAM credits each), will likely be available for this activity after approval under Mayo Clinic School of Continuing Medical Education's ABR deemed status when the processing is completed.
